A very dear friend of mine highly recommend this place, ICHIYAKI, in Hsinchu, Tawian, so I decided to give it a try this time. Of Course, it didn't disappoint me. YES, IT IS VERY GOOD.

Japanese-style interior bar seating. Seats are very limited so reservation is highly recommended.
They serve not only beef but also seafood. Well, since it's a Wagyu beef specialty restaurant, we decided to go for the Wagyu beef 7-types plus two orders of beef tongues.
The server was nice enough to write down all the parts (7-types) we ordered so we know which ones to order the next time when we visit.
Everything is freshly cut on the spot for you. Look at that marble!
I love our server. She barbecued the meat for us while educating us on the quality & differences of the meat, and how to grill them to make them tender yet juicy. Now dinner is served!
Although the quality of the beef was so good and you don't even need any sauce, the beef goes really well with their home-made sauce and marinated onions! If you like heavier taste in your mouth, you have to try all three different sauce. I kept refilling my marinated onions!!My favorites are the beef tongues and chuck. Nom-nom-nom :D
Their staff are really friendly and warm, just like typical Taiwanese people! Price range is not bad for the quality of the meat, it's USD$60 per person without alcoholic drinks. If you happen to be around the Hsinchu area, pay a visit to this place and you won't regret it!
